Seeing as how I am treading on the neoconservative definition of (false) patriotism, I ought to add that my reasoning has nothing to do with the text "under God." I know that there are many individuals that would call me "unpatriotic" in a heartbeat but their version of patriotism is diametrically opposed to mine. "
