BBC Unionist Rogues

"I was a bit taken aback today when I clicked on the link for BBC Scotland's Homepage. There, glaring back at me, was the Union Flag. It fair spoilt my morning coffee.

Why, pray tell, are we being subjected to that divisive image at this time in the morning? The BBC 'explains':

'Two become one
On this day, in 1603, King James VI of Scotland was crowned James I of England.
This marked the beginning of the union between the two 'Auld Enemies'. Not everyone was pleased...'

Why the use of the past tense? Plenty of us are still not overjoyed."

Stuart, I and many Southerners feel your pain and understand your feelings of disgust and disheartenment!!
