Another milestone in Iraq

"George W. Bush has been careful to mark all the big milestones in Iraq: the end of 'major combat operations,' the capture of Saddam Hussein, the turnover of sovereignty and the elections in January. We haven't heard him say anything about this yet: When a roadside bomb hit a truck carrying U.S. troops in Baghdad Wednesday, the U.S. death toll in Iraq passed the 1,500 mark. As of this morning, it stands at 1,502."

Lest we forget the price of neoconic globe-trotting
